Course Specification & further information • EDEXCEL exam board (code 1AD0/01 and 1AD0/02) • In this option choice we are offering a broader way of working than in the fine art option. The best way to think of this is that Fine Art is making Art for Art’s sake and Art, Craft & Design is about both that and designing and making something for a client like an Interior designer would do. • Sign up to ‘Pinterest’ and follow KJS Art Deparment for images and lots of exemplar work Additional Costs and Entry Requirements • We sell a set of equipment at the start of the course (including an A2 portfolio, a sketchpad, a set of pencils and an A3 portfolio). You don’t have to buy these from the school. You will need to purchase about 4 A3 sketchpads during this course. • Research trips also carry a charge • There are no specific entry requirements for GCSE Art, Craft & Design 18
